LRG: The Beat Junkies - For the Record
This is a must watch for anyone who loves hiphop or music in general. Watching Rhettmatic and Babu in summer of ‘99 made me run out and buy a pair of turntables, mixer and start digging for records. Those turntables changed my perspective on music and create some of my better friendship I have today. I never got good at scratching or really making music on them. But it made look for music in place I never thought of before. I still own the Dilated Peoples shirt I bought at Fat Beats LA (RIP) from DJ Babu.
