Pretty excited for Hypebeast’s latest video series which launches this August. Music videos seem so glamorous, but they’re some of the hardest work you can do in the industry. The budgets are a low to zero and you have to create compelling content for 2 to 6 minutes. For most of us who grew up in the MTV generation of amazing videos. Our goal and reason we got into commercial work is to somehow make a our own Hype Williams style hiphop video.
“For our latest HBTV venture, we at Hypebeast are set to introduce a new series entitled The Videographers Guide. Presented by New Pop Media, episode 1 – dubbed “The Music Video” – will explore the changes in the music industry since the creation of the music video as a marketing tool to its existence in today’s world. Featuring insight from the likes of 321 Media‘s Rik Cordero, director and choreographer Trish Sieand Partizan‘s Kinga Burza and Warren Fu, alongside Maxim Bohichik and Alex Bergman of BB Gun Films, The Videographers Guide will premiere this August.” - via hypebeast
