Roseland: A$AP Rocky with Schoolboy Q and Danny Brown

Last night I hit up the Roseland Theater for one of the best hiphop shows of the year; A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q and Danny Brown. All three acts could be headliners in their own right and they all brought that headlining energy to the stage. Danny Brown never disappoints live with his music and outfits. I was surprised how good Schoolboy Q was live. He goes crazy on stage, really getting the crowd in to it. A$AP Rocky and his Mob backed all the hype they’ve been given. Rocky and his Mob preformed a over hour long set with a military theme. They brought back out both Danny Brown and Schoolboy Q for a few songs, mainly Shoolboy’s “Hands On The Wheel”. Which was a personal highlight to see them preform that song together. This was one of the top shows I’ve seen all year.
